Terry Kautzman, 56, of Bismarck, passed away last week in his home.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the Center Community Cemetery, Center, ND.
Terry was born on December 11, 1960, to Wanda (Ganten) and Ray Kautzman. He grew up and attended school in Center, ND. Following his schooling, Terry went into the service and received his GED. He married Jody Gappert and they moved to Utah. A short time later, they moved back to Stanton where he worked and joined the Carpenters Union.
Terry enjoyed music, working on creative carpentry projects, and hunting and fishing with his kids. Family was very important to him, and he always had a treat for his grandchildren. He was a simple man with simple needs and was willing to give the “shirt off his back” to anyone.
Terry will be deeply missed by his daughter, Kassidy, Hazen; two sons, Dustin, Stanton, and Shane (Karissa), Bismarck; four grandchildren, Ashlynn, Ellanor, Tracen, and Bentley Kautzman; previous wife, Jody Gappert, Hazen; step-mother, Jean Kautzman, Center; sister, Linda Isaak (Rick Jansen), Detroit Lakes, MN; brothers, Jerry (Sarina), Antioch, CA, Marty, Center, and Rory Ganten, Gillette, WY; nieces and nephews, Jamie (Brac) Mettler, Jyler Isaak, Willow Ganten, Dylan Ganten, Cory Kautzman, Brienne Kautzman; and a special friend, Carmen Yantzer.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tracy and his twin brother Tim; and step-father, Raymond Ganten.
