Sistene was born to Tim and Jenny (Dearinger) Danielson on September 8, 2004, in Bismarck, ND. She was a little sister to Tovah and a big protective sister to Shea. She attended New Salem School, graduating in 2023. She had been taking classes at BSC for Social Work, with dreams of opening her own therapy clinic one day. She also worked at Elm Crest Manor, Margi’s Daycare, CEF, and HIT Inc.
Growing up, Sistene loved taking care of her animals, especially milking her goats. She loved riding 4-wheeler, going for car rides, and listening to her favorite music like NF, Hamilton, and Epic. She enjoyed playing percussion, starring in state music competition a couple of times. She often wrote down her feelings in journals. She had a big heart, always trying to help everyone around her. She could make friends easily and had friends all over the world.
Sistene’s faith was very important to her, and she loved sharing it. We are so grateful God gave us this wonderful, loving, generous girl. Over the past few years, she struggled with her mental health more than we will ever know. We miss her more than words can say, but she had no doubt that she’d be in Heaven and welcomed by papa’s tight embrace. Revelations 21:4 was an important life verse to her: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Her last selfless act was giving others the gift of life by donating her organs to those in need.
The family would like to thank the New Salem Ambulance, Morton County Sheriff’s Department, and all of her medical providers.
Sistene is survived by her parents, Tim and Jenny; sisters, Tovah and Shea; grandma, Linda Dearinger; uncles and aunts, Steve and Karen Danielson, Danny Dearinger, Laura and Ken Wiebe, Alex Dearinger, Jeff and Charissa Danielson, Summer and Perrin Goetzfridt, Glenn Danielson, James Dearinger, Kim Dearinger; cousins, Isaac and Ean Dearinger, Cori Hartje, Dawn Hauck, Rich Danielson, Micah and Finley Goetzfridt, Tony, Wade and Guy Danielson, Sarah Danielson, Rebekah Hill, Brian and Jonathan Wiebe, and Lindsay Baker.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Marie Danielson and “Papa” Robert Dearinger.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Morton County Sheriff’s Department or the New Salem Ambulance.
