Shari Gehring

Sharalyn “Shari” Ann (Adams) Gehring, 76, of Mandan, took her final breath in the hospital due to heart complications on September 17, 2022.

Family will be greeting guests and honoring her memory at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 12-2 PM.

Shari was born on July 27, 1946, in Beach, ND to Lyle and Margaret Adams.  She grew up on the family farm with two older siblings.  On August 31, 1968, she married John Gehring.  She worked for the Morton County State’s Attorney's Office as the Office Manager for 30 years.  After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  Shari will be fondly remembered for her kindness, unconditional love for family and friends, generosity, sense of humor, and perseverance.

Shari is survived by her husband of 54 years, John; daughter, Kelly (Jordan); brother, Marlyn (Nilah) Adams; sister, Janice (Lenus) Nielsen; three grandchildren, Lucas, Veda, and Jace; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Shari was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Scott and Kent; and one grandchild.
