Russell Dittus

A great man died today, May 3, 2022.  Russell Dittus, age 79, passed away at his home in Mandan.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Buehler Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, ND.  Burial will take place at a later date.

Russell was born October 15, 1942, the son of Paul and Edna (Sayler) Dittus.  He was a brother to Darla Dittus.  Rus was a husband of Marsha (Miller) Dittus and a father to Mashelle Arisman and RoAnn Henderson. He was also a father-in-law to Vince Arsiman, James Henderson, and Greg Holly and brother-in-law to Marlene and Scott Norby, Brad Volk, and the late Daniel Miller.

Russell was a grandfather to Alan (Andrea) Holly, Neil Holly (Desiree Reutzel), Lindsey Arisman, Chad (Lisa) Arisman and a great-grandfather to Lillian and Penelope Sisco and Emmy and Harper Holly.

Russell was an uncle to Jeremy (Foujan) Volk, Roslyn Pigg, Jessica (Miles) Mehlhoff, and Allison (Kris) Martell and a great-uncle to Hayden, Parker, and Maxsen Mehlhoff, and Mirabelle Martell.

A great man died today and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation and refreshments will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan.  Burial will be at 11 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Mandan Union Cemetery.
