Phoebe Mae Johnson

Phoebe M. Johnson, 95, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Elm Crest Manor, New Salem.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Center, ND with Pastor Dennis Ristvedt as officiant. Burial will be at the Center Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.  

Phoebe was born on November 6, 1927, in Williston, ND to Edward Olson and Lena (Songer) Olson. On October 24, 1946, Phoebe married Obert Johnson and to this union six children were born.

Phoebe enjoyed spending time with her family, watching TV, working on word searches and playing cards.

Phoebe will be deeply missed by her children, Diane (Howard) Bubel of Center, ND, Karen (Lyle) Mosbrucker of Center, ND, Gene Johnson of Copper Center, AK, and Daron (Pierette) Johnson of Menoken, ND; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Phoebe was preceded in death by her husband, Obert; infant daughter, Judy Johnson; son, Kevin Johnson; two sisters; and 10 brothers.
