Marvin Haney

Marvin E. Haney, 79, Center, passed away October 15, 2016 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Center, with Reverend Dennis Ristvedt officiating. Cremation has taken place and the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Marvin was born February 12, 1937 to Vernon and Ella (Severson) Haney. He served in the National Guard. Marvin worked as a brakeman on the railroad and then did sheet metal work for many years. Marvin married Virginia Austin in 1956 and they had four children, Jodi Newark (Rick Corbett), David (Beth) Haney, and Jeff (Paula) Haney, all of Grand Forks, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Marvin married Beverly (Leddige) Hardy in the 70's and she passed away January 29, 1987.
Marvin is also survived by brothers, Leroy (Ann) Haney, Roger (Judy) Haney, Bob (Marsha) Haney, Vernon (Dorothy) Haney, and Ron (Judy) Haney.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly; and a daughter, Pam Torres Angle.
