Lorinda Lauer

Lorinda Camille Lauer, 57, of Mandan, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, 1701 Sunset Drive, Mandan. Burial will follow at Nishu Congregational Cemetery near White Shield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Lorinda Camille was born in Bismarck, North Dakota, and raised and educated in the communities of White Shield, Bismarck, and New Salem. She also attended Flandreau Indian School in South Dakota, where she met her high school sweetheart, Randall Tyndall. Together, they had two daughters, Valinda Tyndall and Louise Tyndall.

Lorinda later made her home in Bismarck, where she met and married Bryan Lauer. Her greatest joy in life was her family—especially her daughters and grandchildren. She was a loyal friend, always ready to laugh and bring joy to those around her.

She loved to travel and go camping—often with one of her many campers—and never passed up a good trip to the casino, where the slot machines were her favorite. Lorinda also loved singing karaoke and could always be counted on for a fun night out. She was creative and imaginative, especially in her scrapbooking, where her artistic side shone through. A devoted dog lover, she found great companionship and comfort in her pets.

Lorinda will be deeply missed by her daughters, Valinda Tyndall, Louise Tyndall, and Jaden Beelman; grandchildren, Marley and Nova; sister, Dalinda Beelman; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, including Julie Roubideaux and Laura Pleets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Jean (Perkins) Gohl; brother, Royce Lee Hopkins; husband, Bryan Lauer; and her true love and partner, Marlo Farrell.

Lorinda will be remembered for her laughter, creativity, and generous spirit—a woman who lived life her way, filled with fun and friendship.
