Kaidra Joanne Froelich, 31, passed away on June 6, 2020, at her lake home after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Kaidra was born on December 20, 1988, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Lorel and Tammy (Knoke) Myxter. She grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she danced and played multiple sports. She especially loved softball. Kaidra graduated from Faith Lutheran High School and went on to college where she graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in education. She then moved to Williston, North Dakota, where she began her teaching career, including teaching a summer physical education program. Kaidra married Dustin Froelich on August 10, 2013, in Selfridge, North Dakota. They moved to Bismarck, North Dakota, and had two beautiful girls, Brynlee (4) and Blayklyn (2). Kaidra coached high school softball and taught physical education at Mary Stark Elementary School in Mandan, as well as Fort Lincoln Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary. She went on to receive her Master’s degree from North Dakota State University.
Kaidra loved spending time at her Minnesota lake place with family and friends. She enjoyed playing on softball leagues and coaching softball. Kaidra loved spending time with her family, dressing her girls in matching outfits, and dancing to country music with Dustin and her girls. She had a special love for all animals, and especially loved wiener dogs and horses.
Kaidra was an outstanding mother, wife, daughter, sister, teacher, coach, and friend. She knew how to make everyone feel special and important. After being diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2018, she dealt with many trials and tribulations with her health. Through all of this, she had formed a Good Vibe Tribe of thousands of people who she inspired and who kept her fighting through it all.
Kaidra is survived by her husband, Dustin Froelich; daughters, Brynlee and Blayklyn; parents, Lorel and Tammy Myxter; siblings, Kailee and Koby Myxter; in-laws, Warren and Mary Froelich; grandparents, Karen Knoke, Luana Vetter, and Lee and Sue Myxter; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her Good Vibe Tribe.
Kaidra was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tony Vetter; and many great-grandparents.
