Judith Eliason

Judith Ann Eliason, 69, Center, passed away February 6, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 1:30 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Center with Rev. Dennis Ristvedt officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial of cremains will be held in the spring.

Judith was born December 2nd, 1949 in Grand Forks, ND.  She was baptized in Buxton.  After high school, she enrolled early and attended UND, majoring in English and French Literature.  While attending UND, she went with a tour group, sponsored by UND, traveling through several countries in Europe.  There she met her pen-pal in Sweden, who she corresponded with for several years.

Judy moved to California with a group of girlfriends.  After some time, she obtained work as an officer at Wells Fargo and worked there for many years, eventually returning back to North Dakota and retiring early.  Judy bought a home in Center, where she resided for many years.

She loved her shelties, her friends, and her family.  Judy loved to play Scrabble and was very good at it.

She leaves behind her mother, Thelma; siblings, Gail (Jim), Lisa (Rick), and Tom (Sheri); along with several nieces and nephews; and her friends, Susan Cahoon and Ole Sletten.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Carl and dad, Arlen.
