Glenn C. Larson, 66, Center, ND, passed away January 19, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 24, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Center. Burial will take place in the spring at Sanger Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, January 23 at the church with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Glenn Conrad Larson was born November 23, 1944 in Michigan, ND, the son of Alf and Edith (Sandlan) Larson. He married Sharon Yvonne Maher on June 12, 1969 in Kent, Washington. Glenn and Sharon made their home in many places throughout the years; however, their hearts remained in North Dakota.
Glenn loved woodworking, fishing on the Missouri river, playing pinochle, and jigsaw puzzles. He also cherished time with family and friends. Glenn will be remembered as a man with extremely high integrity and unwavering character. He has left a lasting positive impression on the many people who called him friend. He will be sadly missed.
Glenn is survived by his two daughters, Yvonne Caffell, Sauk Rapids, MN and Destrie (Kevin) Hoffman, Center; two sons, Scott (Tamara) Larson, Center and Michael (Jennifer) Larson, Madison, WI; ten grandchildren, Erika and Chella Robillard, Kyrsty, Kelsey, and Sarah Jo Larson, Garrett Tobin, Jordon, Hailey, and Hannah Hoffman, and James Conrad Larson; two great-grandchildren, Kameron and Sarah Pearle; his mother, Edith Larson, Michigan, ND; four sisters, Lucille (Jerry) Neary, Allenton, WI, Susie Schultz, Michigan, ND, Lori Larson, Grand Forks, ND, and Elaine Larson, Michigan, ND; a brother, Allen (Deb), Grand Forks, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father and his beloved wife, Sharon.
Memorials are prefered to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401, in memory of Glenn.
