George Fuller, 81, of Bismarck, formerly of Mandan, passed away on August 14, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home in Mandan. A private family burial will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
George was born March 3, 1944, in Walhalla, ND, to Melvin and Roseann (Duciaume) Fuller. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1962. In March of 1965, George enlisted in the U.S. Navy in Fargo, ND. George proudly served his country and was honorably discharged in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1967. He went on to attend ND State College of Science in Wahpeton, graduating in May 1969, with an electrical technician degree.
On July 5, 1968, George married the love of his life, Judy, in Sisseton, SD. Together, they built a life filled with hard work, travel, and family. George spent more than 30 years working as a union electrician, taking jobs across North Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Wisconsin, Texas, Idaho, Washington, Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado. After retirement, he and Judy enjoyed years of traveling the country in their 5th wheel.
George was a proud 45-year member of the IBEW Local 714 Retiree Club and was a member of the AMVETS. He enjoyed simple pleasures—especially fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.
George is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Greg) Ressler of Sheridan, WY; daughter-in-law, Amanda Fuller of Bismarck; four grandchildren, Abbie Ressler (fiancé, Tristen Stemen), Harrison Fuller, Mason (Taya) Fuller, and Devon Ressler; sisters-in-law, Lenny Fuller and Regina Freije; and several nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Judy; his son, Clint Fuller; and siblings, Kevin (Pat) Fuller and Ronald Fuller.
