Frank Beierlein, age 94 of Mandan, ND, died January 25, 2020 at a Bismarck hospital.
As per Frank’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
Frank was born August 4, 1925 in Bluegrass, ND (northeast of Glen Ullin) to Frank and Julianna (Gerger) Beierlein. He attended county school in Bluegrass and later graduated from high school in Seattle, WA. Frank enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed in Japan. Following his discharge, he went to work as a machinist for General Dynamics in San Diego, CA. Frank moved to Butte, MT for several years and then to Mandan, ND in 2003. He lived at Liberty Heights in Mandan and later became a resident of the St. Gabriel’s Community in Bismarck. Frank enjoyed playing pinochle and watching baseball.
He is survived by three nephews, Glen Beierlein, Jerry (Mary) Beierlein, and Jim (Mary) Beierlein, all of Glen Ullin, ND; four nieces, Deb Fitterer of Glen Ullin, Dianne (Ricky) Kroh of Glen Ullin, Julie (William) Prescott of Mandan, and Jeana Phillips of Mena, AR; two sisters-in-law, Anna Mary Beierlein of Mandan, and Rose Marie Beierlein of Arroyo Grande, CA.
