Floyd Haugen

Floyd Haugen, 79, Bismarck, died January 25, 2017 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, with Reverend Lee Herberg officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the spring at Stone Lutheran Cemetery, south of Mandan.

Floyd was born May 20, 1937 in Mandan to Thomas and Elsie (Seiferth) Haugen. He graduated from high school and attended BSC. Floyd was employed as an Engineering Technician and worked in many different states across the country. He enjoyed traveling to see family and sightseeing. Floyd was a member of First Lutheran Church of Mandan and the Elks Lodge #1199.

Floyd is survived by one sister, Alice (Grant) Unkenholz, Breckenridge, MN; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Haugen, Eagle River, WI and Julie Haugen, Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Carl Rask and Evelyn and Edwin Hunke; and two brothers, Albert and Herbert Haugen.
