Eric was born January 13, 1985, to the joy of Julie and Richard Renner. He was raised on a farm South of Mandan. He attended Christ the King school and graduated from Mandan High School in 2003. He went on to receive his welding degree from BSC.

Eric enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, camping, cooking, and watching movies with his family and friends. One of his true passions in his younger years was demolition derbies. He managed to bring home a couple of trophies with his lucky number 7 car. He continued to be a kid at heart while playing with his nieces and nephews. He loved the 4th of July and was known to put on a spectacular fireworks display.

He worked for his Uncle Val at Renner's Lawn Sprinkling and for the last eight years at Central Mechanical. Eric took great pride in his work and was very dedicated to doing a good job.

Eric will be deeply missed by his parents, Julie Renner and Richard Renner, both of Mandan; three sisters, Nicole (Dean) Beehler, Mandan, and their children, Lee Renner and Demi Beehler, Stacey (Terry Lee) Gross, Napoleon, and their children, Tyler (Anna), Tatum, Tristan and Tess Gross, Danielle (David) Banning, Peoria, AZ and their children, Sydney Renner, Spencer, Scarlett, and Jack Banning; and his grandmother, Lena Nelson, Mandan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bertha and Val Renner of Mandan and G. Ray Nelson of Flasher; his brother Jacob, and his loving dog Baxter.
