Donna was born on July 25, 1943, to William and Anna (Hoffner) Weidner in Halliday, ND. She was baptized and confirmed at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Halliday. Donna graduated from Halliday High School. She was in the marching band and played organ at her church in Halliday. She worked for the State in Tax Returns and also for the ND Census. She met Willard Bahm and they married on May 3, 1964 in Halliday. Together they were blessed with four children: Jodi, Kristi, Kim, and Russell. Donna was a homemaker for 53 years and was an amazing cook. She loved gardening and spending time with her family and was a fantastic grandmother. As a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Donna will be greatly missed. She had two special pets, a 3000 pound steer named Sammy and an 80 pound lap dog named Lucky. When Russ would tell Lucky to "go find Donna", he would first look for her at her computer playing Majong. If Lucky didn't find her there he would run to the living room to see if she was napping on the sofa. She filled the role of farm manager and ran parts for her son. Donna liked having a glass of wine at holidays; during the summers she enjoyed going on boat rides.

Blessed to have shared her life for 53 years is her husband, Willard Bahm, Mandan; their four children, Jodi Bahm, Fargo, ND, Kristi (Steve) Sanders, West Fargo, ND, and Kim Bahm (Patrick Perkins) Watford City, ND, and Russell Bahm, Flasher, ND; two grandchildren, Mora and Lauren Sanders, West Fargo, ND; one brother, Herb Weidner, Halliday, ND; brother-in-law, Darvin Raether, sister-in-law's Arlene Bahm, Sharon Johnson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jean and Joe Urness along with many nieces, nephews, and great friends.

All of her family and friends have been so loving and caring. The staff at the TCU was very supportive during her stay with them.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Weidner, and her sister, Anna Marie Raether.
