Diane Bullinger, 68, Mandan, died May 1, 2016 at Sanford Health, Bismarck.
Per Diane’s wishes a private family service will be held.
Diane was born January 22, 1948 in Fargo to Harold and Vera (Bolke) Helferich. She was raised and educated in Hebron, later moving with her family to Mandan and graduating from Mandan High School in 1966. Diane attended NDSU and later the University of Mary, graduating with an accounting degree. On October 2, 1970 she married John Bullinger in Mandan. Caring and compassionate, Diane enjoyed taking care of her family and also the community. Her granddaughters meant everything to her and time spent with them, especially camping, were her most joyous times. Diane was a loyal and true friend. She loved to travel and enjoyed swimming and crafts. She enjoyed Wednesday mornings with her coffee group. A devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Diane will be missed by all who loved her.
Blessed to have shared her life is her husband of 45 years, John Bullinger, Mandan; two daughters, Andi Bullinger, Fargo and Sarah (Chris) Gerlach, Crystal, MN; five granddaughters, Amara, Summer, Railey, Kira, and Lucy; two sisters, Susan Riedinger, Bismarck and Donna (Arnie) Hatzenbuhler, Mililani, HI; one brother, Jim (Lynn) Helferich, Lake Tschida; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Jeremiah.
