Debra Lynn Heinzer, 69, of Mandan, ND, died December 8, 2022 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at First Lutheran Church, Mandan with Pastor Phil Leer officiating. Burial will follow in Mandan Union Cemetery.
Debbie was born to Louis and Audrey (Nelson) Heinzer on April 11, 1953 in Fargo, ND. She was raised and educated in Mandan, and ultimately graduated from Oak Grove High School in Fargo. Debbie was employed in various jobs at several businesses in Mandan and Bismarck. She liked spending time on her computer and was good at sending birthday e-cards and emails. She enjoyed working on puzzles and going fishing with her Edgewood friends, and always had her camera ready for pictures at every occasion. A real animal lover, she liked to ride horses and had a special love for her pet dogs. She was also a big fan of Lucille Ball and Elvis. Debbie was a beloved aunt with an ever-present can of Mountain Dew at her side when playing bingo, cards and board games with her nieces and nephew. And everyone knew that she would never be outbid on the spare hand in Michigan Rummy or Tripoly. Now we close with her consistent sign-off: “Jesus loves you, and so do I!”
Blessed to have shared her life is her brother Brad (Nancy) Heinzer, Fargo; nephew Ben (Ann) Heinzer (son Jacob), Robbinsdale, MN; niece Letty (Dusty) Tieman (daughter Sylvia, son Griffin), West Fargo; niece Heidi Heinzer, Bloomington, MN; many cousins, aunts and uncle.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
